Ok. So I have already replaced the switch on the drivers side door but that doesn't correct the problem so I can only assume it is a broken wire or a pin that is causing the issue. I have removed the boot off of the car side and have unclipped the connector attached to the car but for some reason can't get it off more than 3/4 of an inch. There is something holding that connector in.
What am I missing? Do I have to remove the door in order to get access to that connector? That seems a bit extreme.
Do people just cut the boot in order to examine the wires?
