I'm experiencing the exact same issue. It's as if no power is getting to the control assembly on the steering column. It had been several months since I last turned the wipers on. My problem started about a month ago. Have you gotten any feed back on your issue? Have you had to resort to a trip to a Dealer? If I get resolution, I'll reply to this post. Thanks.
