  1. G'day All... my latest issue with my Edge, is now the rear door won't open under power. I had issues with during the extremely cold temperatures, the door (hatch) would not stay up...and sometimes when pressing the button to open the door, it would not run it's cycle to open the door. I had one time pressed the button the door opened half way, then started to close again and ended up coming down on my head. Now when pressing the button, it doesn't even pop up. I can hear the latch release but that is all the door does. I have listened at the fuse block under the hood by the battery, and i can hear the relay click but i am not sure if there is anything going through the relay to drive the motor. has anyone encountered this before?
  2. So i had placed the post in the wrong category... My 2013 rear wiper has stopped working. I have replaced the wiper control arm on the steering column, I have replaced the wiper motor, i have tested the cable from the headliner to the wiper motor for continuity, I have checked all the fuses under the hood as well as the relays. I still don't know why my rear wiper is not working. When i had the rear wiper motor changed my mechanic said i don't have control voltage going to the motor. Any suggestions?
  3. I had joined the Ford Edge Forum years ago, when we first bought our Edge. Then we changed our email address and i could not recover my password since the old email address was inaccessible. I let it loaf for a number of years and then just in the fall I rejoined with a new user name. I could have used the help from others couple years back but all my issues were sorted. But now I'm back with a new laptop and when I re-joined, I guess i never did a greeting. Warren from Winnipeg Canada, and have been an Edge owner since 2014. Love the vehicle, just a couple of minor things i would have changed...but all in all has been a great vehicle, it certainly doesn't owe me anything!! With a new laptop, i hope to keep active in this forum for help and to offer help where i can. thanks Everyone.
  4. More than than likely is stabilizer links causing the noise. These in the front and back of the vehicle. I have changed mine several times over the years. My Edge is a 2013 and i have replaced front and back about 3 times.
