Saleens7, you seem pretty up to date on all the aftermarket performance mods. Are there any air intake kits or programmers out there? I have looked alot but haven't had any luck.

818edge....no, i have'nt had any luck either....i ck'd k&n, ford performance, etc...but no luck on the intakes....no luck on programmers either. I will keep hunting. The vehicle is so new that the aftermarket has'nt had time to bring out performance parts. Keep me updated on any info u get and i will do the same for you.

I would pay to have mine changed back. Those look like crap, mine looks much better.

Turbotour...that is a bad-ass focus.....dam. U gotta post pics when you add all your performance mods to your edge. U are like me...i hate stock......i gotta be differant. Did u chk the 22's on my edge.......???? U will love the look. But go with 35 series profile tires....my 40's rub the inner fender guard slightly...i have since fixed the problem, but go with 35's and u will be fine.

I contacted air ride technologies in jasper, ind today. They said they do not have a complete airbag system for the edge but that an airbag from their company line of products would work, i would just need to fabricate a bracket. The airbag replaces the 2 rear springs and gives u an adjustable and better ride. Soooo...going to talk to them monday and see if they could either build a system or make the bracket for me....

Saw that people were asking about the gibson exhaust. MAGNAFLOW also has a catback exhaust in development right now. I have called them and they say within the next 30-60 days. Check their website...magnaflow.com....click in 2007...edge and the screen will pop up stating a prod. # but no sale price yet. I have been chk'ing once a week..hopefully it will be out in july. Soon as i see it up for sale i will post it.

ok...thanx turbotour. Because my edge is lowered and has the 22's i have noticed that any weight (100pds) or more in the back seats or cargo area my tires are just barely rubbing up inside the wheel wells when i hit a good bump or a set of railroad tracks at 60 mph. Airbags on the 2 rear axles would stop that. Let me know if you come across something.......

Canada jeff, member NYEdge gave me info on the headrests below. These are in my edge......they are new headrest with dvd players that NYEdge and i got off ebay from a company called "lettuce Trade". They are a hong kong company....i was skeptical when NYEdge gave me this info, but i bought them off ebay from lettuce trade ($417.00) had them UPS'd to me in 3 days....and they have been great. They come in 3 differant leather colors and match the leather texture in the edge perfectly...ck out the photos and ck NYedge's post back in mar/apr. 2 wires to hook up (ground-hotwire) and they do fit into the edge headrest post. I wired mine into my electric seats.

ANYONE KNOW OF ANY MANUFACTURERS OUT THEIR WHO HAVE PERFORMANCE "SHOCKS" OR AN "AIRBAG SYSTEM" FOR THE EGDE AWD. I CHECKED THE TIRERACK.COM AND THEY HAVE NOTHING. AND MY FORD DEALER HAD NOTHING (they said a new vehicle can take up to a year for lots of performance/aftermarket parts to appear). ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED....I HAVE HAD NO LUCK ONLINE EITHER.

Yeah keep me updated..you will not regret it...completely transforms the edge from that "jacked up look" to a lowdown look. Ride is still great...better i think.

Whats up NYEdge..thanx on the compliment...u are right, everybody looks and stares now and ask "what kinda car is that...the young ones love the 22's."My 5 yr old daughter now says, "daddy, u have 22's", and she points to one of the wheels. I will get a closeup of the pinstripping next wed morning..ok...it is chrome 3/4". I went and accidently deleted all the pics i had posted so i am going to make a new post and add them for you ok....hope things are going good with you....make sure u send me pics when/if you get it lowered. With those nice wheels you added, you need to lower it to make them stand out. The h&r springs from the tirerack.com cost me $255.00 and my ford dealer installed them for $295.00. Takes about 4-5 hrs to put them in. Keep in touch bro :party:

JUST A QUICK NOTE......i weighed both my factory wheels and the new 22's to see the weight difference while i was getting the 22's mounted; so you guys would have an idea of the difference in weight. (not as bad as i thought it would be). The ford factory 18" chrome clad(plastic) wheel and continental tire weigh 66.7 pds each. My new 22's with the 305/40/22 tires came in at 80.20 pds !! Soooo..... about 58 extra pounds was added to the vehicle....i will remove the spare and that should drop it down to about 25 pds extra. NOT BAD......

Detailed my edge this morning...had it pinstriped with chrome pinstripping last night just to add a little pizzaz to it. Just wanted to put some pics out. My 3d carbon body kit is in...just gotta get it prepped and painted...2-3 weeks. (i hope) Will post pics when it is on.e08.jpg]

Keep us posted...it sucks that a "new" $35,000 vehicle has this kind of problem. I am thinking it could just be a bad seal. I have heard something as simple as a seal not bieng put on by a mechanic or dealer or manufacturer. A $10 seal can cause you headaches. Again keep us posted. Think i will put mine on jack stands this weekend and check my transfer case/oil pan, etc, for any leaks just to be sure.

I will have to remove my hitch that came on my edge...i will never use it anyways.

Dam ksaness07edge...that is not good. I have yet to have any problems with mine...no vista roof squeals/problems...no transfer case problems.....nothing!! I better stop before i jinx myself.....let us know what ford does/says when you take it in. Good luck...
