Got everything installed and can confirm the changes here in Forscan is all that is needed. Everything works as it should. I made the changes line by line but also noticed the changes could be made in the list version of the tables. Both headlight type and drl function.

I got some Osram Nightbreaker bulbs coming in next week and I’ll be doing the install. I got a printout of the as built from the car I got the housings from and my current as built information so I know exactly what is different and what to change in Forscan. Will report back once install is complete.

Looking at it the headlight wiring is tied into the entire main harness. I don’t see different harnesses listed in the parts diagrams. Seriously doubt they’d spend all that money to make two different main harnesses just for thicker headlight wiring. If it was a smaller sub harness I could see it happening but that’s a major cost for the amount of vehicles they make to do a main harness multiple ways like that.

Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Josh. Just recently picked up a 2018 Edge Sport in silver with 38k miles on it. So far I’ve done all fluids, a J&L catch can, Livernois 93 soft shift tune, NGK ruthenium one step colder plugs, and a Livernois 160 thermostat. Have the Addco rear sway bar and JXB rear diff bushing inserts ready to be installed. Also just got some oem hid housings and hoping to swap out the halogen housings it came with. After that probably do the cpe motor mount and be done for awhile. Just keep up with maintenance and enjoy it.

Sorry to bring this post back from the dead but has anyone else done this? I got a set of oem hid housings with ballast and bulbs from a friends wrecked car. Just hook them up and make the changes in forscan and they work?
