Kids have been in camps and I haven’t had a chance to even look at this again. Not sure if I’ll be sanding my “new” to me cars windshield anytime soon either. Wouldn’t mind knowing if everything else was there wiring wise though. Maybe someday.

So I pulled the interior shroud off and the mounting spot for the rain sensor is there, but I doubt there should be black paint underneath where it mounts? On a rain sensing windshield that spot is just clear glass? Also, I don't see any wiring to it. Not sure if I could swap a short harness just under the mirror or if I'd have to run the wires all the way down to various areas myself.

Not the easiest thing to get a decent picture of, but what am I looking for? There's the spot for the co-pilot sensors I assume. Should there be more?

Well that's unfortunate. Wonder how hard it would be to add them? I guess the windshield would be the biggest issue assuming it doesn't have the spot for the sensor. Find out tonight.

My wife has it at work right now, but I'll get a picture for you later today. She had auto wipers on her older Mazda (09) and loved them as she hates driving in the rain. I'm really hoping to be able to get these working on the new Edge as it seems wild it doesn't have them. Maybe she just doesn't know how they work. I'll check the vehicle settings and see if there are any auto wiper entries in there also.

We recently purchased a 2023 SEL and were told it had rain sensing wipers. I didn't check everything (rush purchase) and it seems like it does not have them. We do have the co-pilot360 option pack with auto dimming headlights and lane cantering and radar cruise, so I assume the sensors/wiring are there. Can I enable this in Forscan or do I need to add any additional sensors or just replace the wiper stalk? Anyone ever tried this? Thanks!
