I just had a problem with a Ford Edge. I'm a mechanic, what I fixed was AC. I gave it a test drive then all of a sudden low oil pressure light came on and then I heard a bunch of ticking and knocking from under the hood. I came on these forms just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. But with your concern, yes there can be a soft ticking that is from your lifters/fuel injectors. If you're hearing loud ticking/ knocking do not drive anymore and have a professional or somebody that knows what the hell they're talking about check your vehicle out. If you live in AZ I'm willing to look at it.
