It's interesting actually. When I have any type of media player hooked up to the USB2 (thanks to you all for posting about it), I can switch between it (usb2) and either line-in or usb1 (whichever is hooked up). But if I have all 3 hooked up,. I can still only switch between two of them. The 3rd simply does not show on the touch screen. Now here is the part that is consistent with how it was before tapping into the USB2,.... If I hook up USB1 and line-in (no USB2 involved here) I still cannot switch between them. Only when USB2 is involved (has a media plugged in). SO the culprit seems to be USB1

OK, things are so busy I finally got chance to do this,. and I was waiting for a gender adapter (female - female ) for usb cble to arrive.,.,, Is working beautifully BUT,. I still have thie issue of not being able to switch between sources on the sony nav head unit. Now that I hooked up the USB 2 it does allow me to do 2 sources at a time and switch between them,. but not the total 3. IS this not wierd?!? I am wondering if my sync needs to be updated or reflashed. any thoughts?

Man, if you were'nt on the other coast from me I'd pay you to mod my edge!! Question,. upon tapping into the USB2-does it lock out the ability to switch to line-in on the 09 navigation system. That is what happens on the USB (1) in the 09 with sony nav head unit. You have to unplug the line-in to use the USB and vice-versa. Would be nice if you did'nt have to and if that is the case with USB2,. I will definitely go through the trouble to tap into it.
