  1. I've got this same problem. Only difference is I had my windows tinted. I thought the tint shop created the problem, but never had a chance to discuss it with them. I'm now wondering if the Ford dealer would do anything for me since the window has been removed by another shop. Anyone that had this problem fixed also have tint? (other than the factory tint) Thanks!
  2. The entire right side of my '07 Edge has hard water spots. I've tried the commercial products to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas on removing the spots? Thanks in advance!
  3. I can't answer your question with entire certainty, but I know you can switch from XM to Sirius. I'd think you'd only need to do some google'ing to find a site that might have the XM "brain" you'd need. If I can offer some advice though, I'd wait until the idiots in D.C. decide on the Sirius-XM merger. You may end up spending some money that will be for not if the merger goes through. Good luck.
  4. Not sure if this will help, but my wife took our Edge to work last week and used her ipod without any problems with the "line-in" connection. Worked out great listening to her "book on ipod" for the 45 min. trip.
  5. I'm looking for some help with my radio. I've got the SEL with a rear DVD package. When I purchased the car, the salesman gave me some run around regarding Sirius as an in-dash feature. In the end, I paid $395 for an aftermarket Sirius radio that was not in-dash. I had the dealership rewrite the contract without the radio attachment and it was pulled out of the car without any damage. After talking to the manager of the car stereo company that handled the aftermarket install, he lead me to believe that with the rear DVD package, I could not get a Sirius radio in-dash. Reason being, the stock radio that comes with the rear DVD system allows for a dual listening feature. (ie, I can listen to the radio up front while my wife and son listen/watch a dvd using the wireless headphones.). This dual listening feature does not work with the current Sirius in-dash radio from Ford for some reason so if a DVD is being played, the Sirius radio will not work. Securinu, if you read this msg, does any of your systems allow for this dual listening feature? I'd love to get a system that has everything in-dash (Nav, Sirius & Rear DVD System) without loosing this feature. Did any other SEL (w/rear DVD) owners run into this same problem? How did you work it out? Love to hear some advice or information. Thanks!
  6. YES! I haven't been able find any information on the removal. Any help you can offer would be great! Thanks in advance!
  7. Has anyone removed the dashboard yet? Do you have any tips for removal so I don't destroy the stock look? I went with the DVD system, so I wasn't able to get the in-dash Sirius system. I have a Sirius radio already (Sportster 3) and I'd like to pull the dash out to hide some of the wires for a clean look. When I did this in my previous car I didn't take the time to do it right and broke some of the mounts. Now that I've got the Edge, I'd like to do the install right. I know I can take my Edge to the local car audio store for install, but if I can do it myself I'll save some cash and have it installed the way I want. Thanks for any help in advance! kulemt
