Hello! I just bought a 2009 Edge the day before yesterday and I must say, I love it! As for the 2010 Edge, I believe the only changes are the way they package them. There's nothing new from the 2009 model from what the dealers here have told me. So for the same car in a 2009 model you can take advantage of the $3000. rebate or special financing. Mine is very nicely equipped with the 6 disc changer, Sync, Panoramic roof, leather, cargo pkg, dual temp, and 18 inch chrome wheels. It's the SEL FWD model. Oh, and I got it for under invoice. Thanks for that information, helps out a bunch. I really am hoping to get the best deal possible on this car. If anyone else has anything to share, please do. Also, what "freebies" should I be asking the dealership to throw in? They're already offering free oil changes and state inspections.

I am getting ready to shop for an Edge. From that the dealers are saying, the invoice price is only like $2,000. less than the MSRP. So, they want to work up from the invoice price. How do I know that's the real invoice and what should I offer below MSRP? Thanks!!

I talked with the sales person again yesterday evening and she is saying that the manager doesn't want to budge on the price of 31,600. I'll keep shopping around, or I may have to go in and talk to this guy myself.

New to the forum here so please don't thread crap me. I am looking to buy a 2009 Ford Edge 4dr FWD SEL VIN: 2FMDK38C89BA64368 in Virginia Beach, VA. I'm wondering what I should pay for this vehicle. Right now the MSRP is at 33,620. and the dealer is willing to come off 2,000. on that. I have just started process of shopping around too, so I'm in no rush to make the purchase. So, any insight you folks can provide on this process can be great. What do I need to look for. This will be my very first brand new car purchase.
