Thank you, it worked like a dream. Obviously I need some help in the finding of threads area.

I have searched through pages of threads and used the search but have not been able to find any threads on this. Does anyone know how to program the door keypad w/o going to the dealer to have it done. I have looked in the manual and all I can find is a statement that says go to the dealer. Thanks Mitch

I have a 2008 SEL with the basic power seat on the driver side and manual on the passenger. I have found a pair of power leather all around for $600 front and back. First question is can I install these on the passenger side w/o any electrical work? Do the right hand seats have all the wires to just install these? Thanks

In the vehicles that I have owned with these type of struts that has not been a problem. Newer models I guess.

Neither am I. I typed hood struts in about 100 different ways and it never came up. And I actually clicked on your SoCal link to look at your mods and if that one was there I missed it. Anyways thanks, I will be looking into a pair of those. As someone else mentioned, the Edge hood has some serious weight to it. I am pretty sure it weighs way more than my Suburban hood. Thanks for the links.

Sorry if this has been posted but I searched for a thread on it and couldn't seem to find one. does anybdy know if there is an aftermarket hood strut kit available for the Edge? I have an "08" Thanks in advance. Mitch
