are you sure its the Ford one? it only has the 1 button on the fob correct? anyone else?? I think its just a pain in the a$$ to have a giant useless key with buttons that are obsolete on it after getting an aftermarket remote start.

well this is an upset....I was just going to get a rmeote start for the gf's 'Limited '08. my main issue was the key for the edge has the buttons on it. I was hoping Ford had an intergrated starter (like my truck) and you just pput it in and then all you had to do was hit both lock AND unlock for the remote start. not the case? All I have seen is the single button keyfob from Ford. I guess thats better then getting an aftermarket setup and having ANOTHER keyfob on the keychain. she also has dual climate and this sucks to hear...kinda defeats the whole purpose of starting it up in the winter.

slips over it???? how? how do you get the shifter bezel over the leather on the handle??

I bought a new console top piece for my gf's car. previous owner put some nice scratches in it. it looks simple eough. all clips on the bottom just pop in. but the shifter has to be removed first to get it off. any idea's? and could I have used an 09 console piece with the light up cupholders in in on here '08?

oh I know they would fit...just seeing of anyone has done it. the sport tails (to me) would look better. they are tinted on the inside.

my gf has a black Limited and I think I want to put on the Sport tails. anyone done this?

kind of want to get a set for the '08 so the 20s dont go through the nasty winters we have up here. let me know what you got. and I think the Edge is the normal 5x4.5 bolt pattern?

stalling? Oasis report has it in every few thousand miles for a "stalling" issue. dealer took it for 400 miles and never duplicated the problem and after the 3rd or 4th time a Ford rep came out and took it for 300 miles and found nothing. everytime they diagnosed the cas they found nothing. Almost like the origninal owner couldnt afford it or didnt like it after buying it.

hey all My girlfriend just bought a 2008 Limited after 2 months of us searching and testing everything out there. We went from Mazda 6 to Altima Coupe to Fusion Hybrid, Escape, Outlander etc etc. Prob looked at 15-20 diff cars and test drove 10 or so. In the end she wanted an Edge so we looked at 5 before this one popped up and we got it to the right price. I was a little reluctant to buy it at first as its a "RAV" vehicle. I looked over the Oasis report and the dealer assured me there was nothing there. Details 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD Black ext, Black leather int 6 Disc Roof 20" wheels Im posting up because Im a huge car guy w/ 3 vehicles myself and I belong to 30 or so other forums, so figured I would join up here and check things out for her car too! are there any other Edge forums? yes, I was happy it was an easy fix. I was a little skeptical on buying it in the first place as its a RAV vehicle and then the first night we have it this happened. She loves it though. So do I I just dont express it...haha

we did go back and they "greased" it up. what is that all about? Ive had moon roofs in my vehicles for the last few now and all have worked flawlessly even up to 140k miles on one car. and how often will this happen?
