My wife works for AAA so we get the X-plan discount, plus the 0% interest, the only money i really lost was the $ I put down and the payments I had made. Also, i had bought a few cars from this guy before so he gave me an extra good deal. I wouldn't have traded it in if I would have had to lose my shirt.
It helped that I told them if they could give me a good enough trade in value where I would break even on my loan then I would buy two cars...so they did... I bought my wife a 2010 Taurus Limited AWD on the same day.
Yup, I was right.

I am an Interior Designer and in my opinion if you took the "wood" out of the Edge and the "wood" out of a BMW X3 you wouldn't be able to tell which came from which or which was real and which was plastic.
Technology has advanced enough that even the plastic look real.
Just my opinion.
Choff I'll take a better picture and post it for you.
Well you are an "interior designer" that I would never hire. Not that I would hire one.
You're saying you can't tell the difference between a Veneer and real wood? Sheesh!

What type of winter conditions? Some amount of snow on the roads for 4 months or just snow on the roads for a few hours?
Both. I live in Chicago.
I've driven through 10+ inches on the road with no sliding issues.

If you're worried about winter driving conditions you should have opted for the AWD.
The all season Scorpians and Michelin Latitudes perform near flawlessly in winter conditions with AWD.

Hello to all! I currently own a 2008 limited edge which appears to have minor transmission issues. The dealer has offered me great incentives to get into a new limited 2010 edge. My question is other than the improved mpg are there any other features that have changed since 08 model? Thanks for the help!
I'll give you a great deal on my loaded 2010 Limited.

I wish I still had my 2008 and had not traded for the 2010
They are nearly identical.

since your edge was so new, did Ford take care of you on the trade in? or did you lose your shirt?
I'm going to say B.

Try Murphy's oil soap I have used it for years on leather Vinyl, etc.
I have used this also on vinyl for years.
A little goes a long way.

I told everyone this would be happening. This may be the first but certainly not the first person with an issue.
I hope everything gets fixed.

I guess the senior citizens dont have much of a sense of flare. There was one at SEMA that looked really nice with a molded hood scoop. It was small and fit the body lines of the truck. I will dig through my pics and see if I can find it.
Not even close to being a senior citizen. I just appreciate class over trash.
A non-functional hood scoop on a crossover with 265hp would not be the most tasteful modification.
Just because APC wants to showcase a fake hood scoop on an Edge doesn't mean you should run out to buy it.
If you do you might as well go all out and buy the fake side vents, racing stripes, and bolt on exhaust tips.

I really hope you're joking.
If you're not please sell your Edge and buy a Honda Civic.

Hubcentric adapters are typically made for aftermarket wheels. A good wheel/tire place will have an assortment of them and should be able to hook you up with a set. As far as finding what the inner bore is you will need to research a possible ford flex forum. It is easy as measuring the diameter of the center bore of the wheel. If it is smaller than your vehicle it can simply be milled/grinded to the correct size.
Thanks for repeating what I already posted.

I just finished an 8700 mile trip, in a 2010 edge. Soon after we bought it I knew the dash and polished trim would be a problem, so I covered them with black construction paper. It reduced the reflection some, but it was still a problem and even a safety issue in the flickering light of wooded areas on 2 lane roads,. I wish ford would have designed a more acute angle between the dash and windshield and left off the shiny trim.
We really like the car, but I think the dash reflecting in the windshield would keep me from buying another.
