  1. Hello, I finally found some time to introduce myself- We love our Edge it replaces a 1999 Expedition we traded in. Expedition was super for hauling our kids stuff back and forth the college. Only have 1 in college now, he has a house, so keeps his stuff at the house no need for a big hauler, but we still like the Independence of having an "SUV" should the need arise to bring something home. I'm using Jill Wagner for my Avatar. She's part of the Ford family, albeit the LM side. My Name: Drdisk. No I'm not a Chiropractor. I'm a computer disk (storage) sales executive for a large computer company. Why the Dr. ? My last name is the same as the first medical college in the USA. That's my introduction enjoy -
  2. Ford Advertising, Please take note. This Commercial ROCKS ! Edit it down, to 30, and play these folks a few $$ and you will have a real attention getter ! Oh. and probably sell a few more Edges' !
  3. If the odometer is off, Sweetie6116, have you looked at the MPH/Kilometers Per Hour (KPH) accuracy ? Is it correct ? Have you checked your vehicle running at the same MPH/KPH as another vehicle running next to you ? I would think if the odometrer is as inaccurate as you claim, the MPH/KPH may also be out of specification ? Let's think this thru, Ford and all auto manufacturers use either time or miles for their warranty expiration parameters. If there was a TSB, for an out of spec odometer it would be posted here, there is none. If the odometer was as out of spec. as you claim, I could see the US Congress (comments about congress being kept for another forum) holding hearings, hauling in all the CEOs of the major auto manufacturs asking about odomters and warranty claims. This has not happened and to help the congress, the "Drive by Media" would really jump on this too (Remeber the Explporer/Firestone issues or the Audi Acceleratoin issues) The Media had a field day. So what's the outcome ? There are over 700 users on this forum, no one else has this issue ? Could you have made a math error ? Could you be looking at US gallons or Imperial gallons, or as another chap pointed out, KPG versus MPG ? We are very nice people on this form, we Just Don't Like to see a product we paid good $$ for get bashed. So where are we ? Is your odometer incorrect ? What actions have you taken ? YOU DO OWE US AN ANSWER ! Thank you - A very happy Edge Owner !
  4. Have you had your tires rotated ? Its possible the person doing the tire rotating had their Air Gun set too high, applied > specified tourque, and may have warped the rotors ?
  5. Ordered it from the factory, great option for keeping valuables out of sight, or for storing jumper cables, etc. The parts man needs to make a living too, but $280 ? Sorry this pricing out of line !
  6. I have a Carbon Metallic SE+ with the Camel interior, been driving it for about a month. No noticeable Windshield glare here in Connecticut
  7. :happy feet: We ordered our Edge fully loaded, had within 5 weeks. (Thanks people at Oakwood !) Have had for about 4 weeks and its a great 'machine'. Traded in a 2001 Expedition. My wife, and our 27 and 21 year old sons love it too. Our Edge joins our other Ford products; 2003 Tbird, 2004 Taurus, 1999 Taurus. Fit and Finish are great. Ordered the optional floor mats. They are black rubber and great for catching stuff from boots shoes in bad weather as they have deep ridges to keep the stuff on the mat and away from the Camel interior. For my Bday, received the OEM Ford Edge, with Edge embroidered, very classy in Camel color. I'll use these in the spring, summer, fall and save the rubber mats for the winter. Oh, I have used Jill Wagner as my avatar, of course keeping within the Ford family. :yup:
