  1. Wow, I got some info from Ford. The Sport does have a Sub, but all other speakers are different. Here is the info for the 2010 Edges, standard sound equipment. There is a very noticable difference in sound quality between the Premium I model and the Premium II model. Edge_Reference_ENG__2_.pdf
  2. Is that the only difference between the systems? Are the other speakers the same? Can you confirm the rest of the equipment? The stereo is advertised as a nine speaker system, if there is no Sub, what is the ninth speaker? If there is no Sub, why is there no Sub? Any ideas would be helpfull.. thanks
  3. So I traded my 2010 limited in for the 2010 sport. A few issues with the Limited I didn't like. i was told the stereos were identical in each. I was happy because the 2010 limited stereo was great, for a factory stereo. I picked up the Sport and expected the same. There is a massive difference between the 2. The sport premium is pretty crappy compared to the limited. So I dug a bit and saw the package in the limited is called Premium sound system II with 9 speakers. The package on the Sport is called Premium sound system with 9 speakers. Notice how the "II" is missing in the Sport version. Does anyone have the exact specs for these stereos? I need to know which to fix, amp, speakers, or (hopefully not) everything.
  4. Which type of Scotchguard did you use? There are a few, and I am just trying to determine which one. I will probably do a coat every month or so.
  5. After taking mine in 5 times, with 4 road tests so the techs at Ford could hear it as well, the issue was not resolved. Much to my surprise, they gave me a new Edge Sport. We split the difference in cost. Now I just need to get this stereo upgraded. I know they are the same stereo, but I swear the one in the Limited sounded better. Any tips on fine tuning the stereo's in these?
  6. No luck, they say they cant hear the noise. They suggested playing the stereo to cover it up. It is only at highway speeds for me as well. Of course that is all I use mine for. They are trying to say it is a normal noise now. This is a deal breaker for me. If this noise really is normal, then this is a very poor quality vehicle considering I have never heard wind noise like this on any vehicle, without the window open anyway.
  7. Anyone have this issue. It is very loud on my new Edge Ltd. The passenger side doors are nice and quiet, but the drivers side is very bad. No noise from the roof. New weatherstripping = no effect Door adjustment = no effect The door doesn't match up evenly with the rear driver side door so, hopefully they will replace the front door and that will be the issue. Has anyone else noticed Window noise?
