I just got back from the stealer. It is the PTU shaft seal. It seams Ford changed the design for 2010, and they do not stock the needed part. They have the parts for the earlier years, but no the 2010s. I have to return next week to repair it. In the meantime, I have to add a half a quart of ATF every three days.

I have an appointment tomorrow morning with a local stealership... Does anyone know how long the vehicle will be down for?

I've read about a "PTU" leak, have no idea what that is, and my AWD 2010 Edge is dumping fluid...

unscrew the cap as far as it will go, then twist and pull hard. the cap and dipstick will come out.
