Thanks for all your input, it's only a short journey but I do think it will have to be on its side, I'm thinking it should fit in the Edge from your posts, I doubt a Sharp box is much different to a Sony either, fingers crossed.

I'm moving a 52" boxed LCD tv, the box measures 138cm x 90cm x 38cm (55" x 36" x 15"). A friend with a 2008 Edge has offered to move it with me but I am sceptical that I could get it in. It's currently on the 31st floor so would rather not just do a trial and error approach! Will it fit in? Thanks
