Hi. Have yet to take it to a ford dealership here in the uk. I just know they would be a nightmare, so its good you havent had any problems. We have a local american car garage near me and they have done all my servicing for me. Still loving our Edge Sport and we are going to sell it in a year and get the new 2012/13 edge sport. Just wondering where the best place to sell it would be and how much I should be looking at to get for it?. Who did you use to ship it over?. We used American Carraige who to be honest I thought were pretty poor. Promised the car to us for March, got into the country in April and we actually picked it up mid June. All the time paying for a hire car. Also the after service is just awful. A few times I have contacted them and they never do what they say they are going to do. and NEVER get back to you. Was thinking of going over to the USA to a ford dealer there and doing the deal there and getting them to ship it back as part of the sale deal. Hi guys. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and what they done about it. Im in the uk and had this imported brand new from usa in March last year. My front two tyres have both been loosing the air pressure in them and i put it down to a very slow puncture. I would put air in them and after about a week the low tyre pressure comes up on the dash. I took it to two separate places to get the punctures repaired to be told that both tyres are leaking from the rims. They told me this was due to corrosion on the inside of the rim and i needed new rims. They have sealed them both for me with silicone but they said they couldn't promise that would sort the problem out. Are the wheels still under warranty for something like this?. Does the warranty carry over to the uk? I only had these sealed 2 days ago so i have yet to see if what they have done has worked. I can't bring myself to purchase 2 new rims after only 15000 miles on them!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

From empty it costs about £75.00. Which isnt to bad. You get about 330 to 350 miles on a tank as well. Had it now for over a year and still love it. Going to get the 2011 Edge Sport end of next year and cant wait for that too.

My wife got home tonight and said a light was coming on in the car. Had a quick look and in the manual it says its the anti theft indicator. After reading the manual it seems to say that the light flashes when the key is in the off position, which it does. The light also flashes when the key is not in the ignition and the car is locked. There doesn't seem to be a problem with anything at all. The only reason i'm asking is because this light has never flashed before. We sent a member of staff out to the car today to get something out of it and I think she has done something to turn this on maybe?? As I said this doesn't seem to be causing a problem I just wondered if thats how its supposed to be and everyone else's Edge does this? I'm in the UK and I know Ford over here could not and would not help us out here so i'm relying on you guys really!! We have a 2010 Edge Sport. Thanks guys

Sorry guys for not getting back on this. Had car about 2 weeks now and love it. Went for the silver one in the end and so glad i added the 22" rims. Looks awesome. Anybody here added anything on theirs to make it sound more beefy. I had a 2003 f150 harley davidson before this and i'm used to the great sound of that ( i know its a completely different engine but i do miss it!) Just wondered if anybody had added anything to give it more umph! Also I only ordered the normal stereo not the sat nav as it was a lot of $ to add and the sat nav would not work here. Ive seen a few of the sat nav models on Ebay for about $500 would this be a simple job of swapping over?. Also the guy said he could get a uk map disk for me. Does this sound right? Dont want to end up with this and not be able to use it. Thanks guys. Ill post some pics when i get time

Hi guys. Just took delivery of our new 2010 edge sport yesterday and the second time the wife has driven it she kerbs the rear wheel putting a nice scrape on the edge of the rim. To say i was pissed off is an understatement!! We have been told we have the only Edge sport in the country and have waited for delivery of this for about 4 months. Is there any way these rims can be repaired. I had a F150 harley davidson a while back with 20" wheels and they were chrome and I dont think they could be repaired either. Any help would be appreciated. Also Whats the best way to give the edge some more Ummpphhh. Compared to the F150 it sounds so weak and 'normal!' Thanks very much Neil

Been a long wait and still have yet to receive it!. Its in the country and am picking it up next week and cant wait!. I shall post a pic on here when i get it and let you know my thoughts.

Ive already had to pay way over the odds for it here anyway. With shipping I had to pay around $50,000 for it! So a few more $$ would not matter to much!

Im sure I will love it but Just a bit annoying to see how sweet the new 2011 looks. I am absolutly lovin the new interior and the rims on it. But I think its gonna turn heads here anyway as its a one of a kind in the UK.

Hi guys. From the UK and just ordered the first 2010 Ford Edge into the country and will be arriving in about 2 weeks. Just saw pics of the new 2011 Sport last night and to be honest im totally gutted!. The new model looks so much better and with a bigger better engine I must say im really regretting ordering this now!. I went for a silver sport on 22" rims with a ton of extras on it too, so to see this new Edge last night has really put me on a downer as this does look so much cooler (absolutly loving the new interior. If only i had waited just a month or so and seen this I would have been first in line to order one. Obviously, being from the UK I have never actually seen one in the flesh, so to speak. Please tell me i wont be dissapointed with it!!! Still cant wait to get it but cant help but feel ive really missed out on something really quite amazing looking if i had only hung on a month! No doubt when I do get it ill be more of a frequent visitor to this site. Ill let you all know what i think when it arrives cheers Neil
