Alright perfect as soon as the snow goes I'll try a clay bar and some wax and see how it goes, hopefully it'll get rid of it. I hate Cleaning my car and everything looks great except for the random crusty exhaust pipes haha Thanks guys

So i have a 2009 edge limited and i want to clean the exhaust pipes, only thing though is that the climate i live in can be harsh at times and there seems to be a rough build up of something formed over the exhaust pipes to the point where you cant even see the steel anymore. I'm not really sure exactly how i can get rid of this. its like a rust build up or something has formed over them. what would be the best way to clean the exhaust pipes? thanks
