  1. Heres the thing, changing to the Sport lights won't really do much for the looks becasue you still ahve all that headlight reflector. Painting the reflectors, if one could do a good job, would look ok as long as you never drive at night as you wouldn't have hardly anylight output. Now if you wanted to get trick you would have to do a projector retrofit that way you would have the dark lights that you are looking for and also have light output but seriously you picked the wrong color vehicle to "murder out". Your would look sharp with tinted windows, lowered and some nice polished or chrome 20's on it adn get rid of the web address you have stenciled on the side

  2. Is everyone hand calculating their mpg? The mpg display in these vehicles is not the most accurate thing in the world.

  3. The battery could have gone bad that quick but not the other things unless you have a teenage son that has recently started driving. With almost 45,000 miles on the vehicle I would suspect that it probably needs brakes soon. Tire wear is a different story as some people get 20,000 miles out a set of tires while others will get 50,000 miles out of the same set of tires...too many variables BTW the tires and brakes are not covered under the warranty.

  4. From Wikipedia:

The three-letter acronym IMO may refer to:

    International Mathematical Olympiad

    International Maritime Organization

IMO ship identification number, unique identity numbers issued to seacraft (pattern "1234567")

    International Meteorological Organization

    Icelandic Meteorological Office

    International Meteor Organization

Idiopathic Massive Osteolysis, a name for Gorham's disease

Independent Market Operator of Ontario, CanadaIrish Medical Organisation, the main organisation for Doctors in the Republic of Ireland

Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc. The registered trademark holder of IMO

    From the Urban Dictionary:

IMO - Abbreviation for "In My Opinion." Use if you want to weaken your argument significantly.

IMO - Stands for "In My Opinion". The term is brutally destroyed over and over again on many message boards.

IMO - Stands for "In My Opinion". The most insecure way to state your opinion. Used by those afraid to get into a big argument with someone who disagrees with them. "Using IMO makes you a pansy of the internet message boards."

Maybe you ought to think about using a different slang abbreviation, or actually typing it out.

Maybe you should change your screen name from Superman, which by the way is brilliantly original, to Capt Anal as it seems to be a better fit. You obviously have taken offense to my dislike for your modification when it wasn't intended to offend you. You posted the pictures of what you had done on the internet for the whole world to see so one assumes that you are looking for feedback on your efforts yet it seems that you only want to hear the "wow man that looks cool" ones. The world isn't all puppy dogs and kittens and you can't always hit a home run when up to bat so lighten up Francis...

  5. L!TECH - If I had any idea of what you are talking about, I guess I might be offended. But since I don't, I guess I'm not.

I think the look of it on this vehicle looks tacky. I am not trying to offend you, it is just my opinion...you gotta take the good with the bad

  6. For the people who have a 2009 or 2010 with NAV, when you start your vehicle what screen is displayed. On mine on the left side is the map and on the right upper part is the radio and below that is the equalizer. For some reason when I first got this I could have sworn that the whole screen displayed my radio but if it did I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it do it again...it bothers me that everythime I start teh vehicle I have to touch the screen to make the radio go full screen.

  7. I have never owned a vehicle where the mpg calculation that was done by the car was accurate. The only vehicle that I have owned that came close to what it said was my Lexus IS350, and it was consistantly off by 1.2 mpg. On my Ford Sport Trac the mpg was always about 2 mpg higher than calculated and on my Edge it is always about 1.5 mpg higher than calculated. I get gas at only one gas station and I do actually use the same pump all the time. I look at it this way, if the vehicle actually were able to calculate the true mpg that you were getting do you know how many vehicles would be in the shop because people complained about lower than advertised mpg...alot

  8. It seems that people here think that the temperature of the air coming out of the vents shoud be what the climate control is set to...this is false. The temperature setting relates to the interior temperature and has nothing to do with the temp of the air coming out of the vents. Once the interior temp reaches what you set the climate control at then the temp coming out of the outlets will start to change to keep the vehicle at that temperature. .

  9. Here is my take on the whole air intake thing. Years ago I believe that air intakes actually used to do something on select vehicles, and by years ago I am talking about 1998 and older. Nowadays with the mfgs all trying to provide the most hp for the buck it only stands to reason that if they could squeak out another 10 hp for almost nothing that they would do it. I am lucky enough to work at a shop where i have access to a dyno and have actually tested different intakes on different vehicles adn none of them have realistically made any noticeable power increases and the ones that did show an improvement it was't realized until the upper rpms and realistically speaking who drives their vehicles in the upper rpm range most of the time...no one. I think people who have put intakes on and said "oh yeah it makes a big difference" are relating the sound of the intake sucking air with more power...noise ain't power. Now if the engine is modified, btw the exhaust is not an engine modification, then sure an air intake can provide substantial benefits but other than that all you are doing is making your wallet lighter...JMHO
