  1. I have them installed on my 2010 Edge Limited. You should have 2 long and 2 short pieces. The longer one goes on the front door, the shorter rear. Just measured mine and the long one is 39" and the shorter is 26.5". I'd say you have the wrong size because if the shorter one was any longer it would hit the curve of the rear wheel well and would have to bend alot to lay against the door. Here's the link to the ones I bought and the picture shown shows how they fit/look on my car: http://www.sportwing.com/ford-edge-body-side-molding.aspx
  2. Hi 4DOOR2NV, The chrome edging came with the car and I suspect is stock with a Limited Edge though someone with more knowledge might be able to confirm. I believe you have an SEL edge. The only custom stuff I've done is: - nerf bars from here http://www.autoanything.com/nerf-bars/73A4540A0A0A3118319.aspx - door side molding form here http://www.sportwing.com/ford-edge-body-side-molding.aspx - chrome door handles Regarding the door handles the instructions apply to all doors. You obviously just attach the one with a hole to the driver side that has the keyhole . When you loosen the torx screw in the door the pieces become loose and are easily pulled off. It was a little trickier putting the new handle back as you have to make sure the handle catches the "internals" that unlock the door. It's not that difficult you just have to loosen the torx screw enough to get it to catch and the first time you do it you're worried the torx screw will come completely out and fall in the door
  3. As promised here are some pics of my edge with the chrome handles installed. For someone that likes chrome, it finishes it off quite nicely. You car "murderers" out there won't like it In the spirit of spreading info I also scanned the instructions that came with the handles so that people can see what's involved. Very easy to install...
  4. Thanks chloe13.... That's what threw me off as the description says they are covers and I wanted the whole handle replacement. Thanks for confirming that they are indeed the whole handle. I've ordered mine and will post a pic of the results after they are installed...
  5. I like the chrome and those handles look nice. I don't like the "murdered" look or whatever its called (all black) so as you say "different strokes"....
  6. Chloe13, Could you link to the actual handles you got. Following the website you provided I found covers but not the whole handle replacement. I found handles from another site mentioned elsewhere but the price was not $80 shipped (more like $130). Thanks
  7. Hello, Just recently bought a 2010 Ford Edge Limited with all the trimmings. Love the car but wanted a few touches to set it apart. Installed some nerf bars and side panel strips. Here's some pics: Just in case anyone is interested I installed: - Steelcraft 3" Round Step Nerf Bars Stainless Steel - Sportwing Painted Body Side Molding (Tux Black) Did it all myself within 1.5 hours. Easy install, no drilling. Still trying to decide whether I want chrome handles or not. I kind of like the look now. If anyone has a diagram on how to install/remove the door handles I would appreciate a look to see how difficult it is (someone posted one a few years back)... Anyway enjoy the pictures. Thanks
  8. Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I wanted to view the handle install diagram that was attached to this post and it has expired. Anyone got a copy of it they can repost? I see the description but I work better with pictures so would like to see that.... Thanks
