I keep a small one resting on the steering column in front of the gauges. It's more interesting than what's going on ahead of me...
Ya'll know I'm just kidding, right?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight....I bet you watch porn.

EDGE GMT, you need to do what I did...go to Wal-Mart and get the portables that strap to the headrest. I paid less than $200 for a pair (one player, 2 separate screens so they have to watch the same dvd). If you only need them occasionally, why spend that much money?!? At that rate, even the cheap ones should last you a few years.
Damn.
Wish I said that.

HAS ANYONE INSTALLED HEADREST DVD PLAYER OTHER THAN THE $1200-1800 DOLLAR ONES. ARE THE $400 WORTH ANYTHING ? WILL USE ONLY A COUPLE TIMES AYEAR.
How about a couple of inexpensive portable DVD players and the carrying cases that hang over the seat?

That would be a courtesy shake :shades:
Depending on what is used to do the "wipe" - it could be much better.

You only want Kmh displayed?
There is always white-out?

Hello, I have a 2007 SEL+.
I have been reading this site for the past couple of months and you guys sold me on the Edge.
It is used dealer demo, with 7300 miles on it.
I got a got price and trade in on my 05 F150.
My Wife picked it out. She liked the Black exterior and interior.
Only thing is the wheels and tires suck, and I replaced them with Enkei and Goodyears from Discount Tire last week.
I have the OEM wheels for sale on Craigslist.
I hope to learn a lot from this forum.
Thanks,
Joe
Excellent choice of wheels. Post some pics.

Good Hands I am afraid I don't understand TTIWWOP. What do it be?
This Thread Is Worthless WithOut Pics.

These OEM wheels are off my brand new 2007 Ford Edge; They have exactly 100 miles on them. They also fit the Fusion and I believe the Explorer.
They're Flawless. No "Curb Rash," or scratches. Rubber like new. Photo available. I also have very high resolution images.
Tires are excellent quality Hankook Dynapro AS 235/65/17's. If your unfamiliar with the brand, they put them on Lambo's and Porsche's.
You'll pay $109 a piece + tax (plus $20 each for mount & balance.) That's over $500 just for the tires alone.

I travel every week, I have three states to cover. I have no issues with my seats at all. But then again I just got out of an Escape and that thing beat hell out of me, so even a lumber wagon would feel good at this point.
The escape was a wonderful vehicle for every use I had except traveling like I do.
Oh yeah and I do have a Lumber wagon, I use it on weekends, I live approximately three axle greaseings from town, and those wheels are made of wood.
I live so far out in the woods my breath smells like cord wood, and I have eaten so many Rabbits I drag my own Butt to clean it.

I would actually welcome a courtesy wipe to get that last, lingering drip.

Please do not insult me I am asking a simple questions and you are not providing any help with your dumb-ass reply
NO ONE IS LETTING AIR OUT OF MY TIRES another helpless answer please move on
Seriously guys I'm not some moron that has only owned one car in my life. I take great care of my vehicles and I don't go months on end with out checking tire pressure. In this instance my tire pressure has been checked every 2 -3 weeks that is when the light comes on so yes it is loosing air at a rate the is faster then it should be. I don't think to many drivers check there tire pressure every week. I did when I owned my motorcycle but on todays cars it is not unreasonable to go 3 weeks without checking your tires air pressure. And weather I check them myself or go to the tires shop that I pass everyday they get checked so what the big deal who does it.
I am not asking for help on how to check the air pressure or my engine oil level either like I said above this is not my first car but thanks for all the help so far some of you have give me so good advice, others well thanks for the laughs.
Sheesh...It's called a sense of humor. Get one.
You have a very strange situation and we are trying to give you suggestions. I agree with akirby; to have all four tires with a small leak in each one of them is very unlikely.
If you don't like what any of us have to say, then figure something else out. After all, you are the one who doesn't think he should check his tire pressure because he has the TPMS. "What good would checking them myself do if I don't have nitrogen to fill them back up(?) I'd still have to go to the tire shop." Using that same logic, why check the oil or radiator level; you just have to get them filled up too.
You could always develop an Excel spreadsheet. Test each tire three times every three hours. Make a column showing each tire, the tire pressure and the time you checked it.

Hey seng...sorry for butting in, but I just thought I would let You know...Good_Hands is really busy today/tonight...But he should be able to get back with ya tomorrow....
Just wanted to let you know...
Thanks boo!
You have no idea...pretty sad when there is so much going on that the only way to get some peace and quiet is to go to work.

I vaguely remember something about the wires hanging down. I checked mine and don't have the same problem. I guess you can stick it back up in there but...I think I would probably mention it to the dealer the next time I was there.
Does this answer your questions? If not, pm or post again. Tks!

Do you ever check your engine-oil level?
He might just wait for the light to come on.
Isn't that what it's there for?

We have had our 2007 Edge now for about 1-1/2 months (3800 mi) bought used with 2500 mi on it. We are seeing 14.9 on our avg gas mileage readout. Nearly all in town driving. Anyone else getting these numbers? We were hoping for closer to 16 mpg. :shades:
I think I saw one or two posts about this very same subject...can't remember for sure.
Something about the mileage getting better as the engine gets broken in. In fact, I think a few people are getting upwards of 18 in the city..maybe more.
I know I am averaging 16.5 - I just went over 8K.
-
This is scaring me. I'm on 10,000 miles with my 2007 Ford Edge (bought in August) and recently (right after the first oil change) started noticing puddles of oil under the car. I thought for sure that someone had parked in my driveway during the day as this COULDN'T be from my BRAND NEW car. Accompanying the puddles is a odd smell, almost oil like, definitely a chemical smell while idling after the car has been running for a bit, and also smoke rising from the engine.
I'm going in for a check tomorrow (12/19). Oh boy.
Whoa.
Deja' vu.

I have always liked the spoke/basket style wheels. Looks sharp!
How much different do you think the Silverline's are to the "add-on option" chrome exhaust tips you can order. I have those and like the way they look.
Maybe some different angle/closer pictures of yours? It's hard to tell if there is any difference.
But..overall - I love the look. Very, very nice.

Another vote for Weathertech. I have mats for the front and back seating area. They fit perfectly and are a breeze to hose off.

Love the wheels! I have always liked the spoke/basket style wheels.
Very, very nice.

Thank you...
that is what I was thinking...lol
we are talking a temp of like 105, and humidity of 130...sheeeesh
Sounds like where I live. If I can see my breath, it's too cold.
And when it is hot and humid...blah.
I'd say whatever it cost, it's worth it.
Besides, if you want it, you should have it.

Well, he does keep a "small one" resting on the steering column.
