ok, the only things i have to complain about with my edge: 1. the headrests, i needed to flip them around because it wasn't comfortable for me while driving 2. when filling my gas tank, the pump cuts off but i can still pump 3-4 gallons in the tank with out any pouring out. ( i usually get about 400 miles per tank i average 20-25 mpg. I don't know what you're getting since you didn't mention)

i have an '07 edge, when i turn my wipers on my headlights come on, i keep my headlight switch set to auto, once the wipers are on a moment the headlights come on. if your's isn't doing this then i suggest taking it into the dealer.

personally i've had my edge for almost a year, and i generally average 19-20 mpg i do a bit of mixed city/hwy driving. i think i may have gone down 1-2 mpg when doing strictly city. considering the engine, and horsepower i feel that this is pretty good mileage.

yeah mine does it too at around 15 gallons if there is a fix for this let me know

hey man i wanted to say i have the same problem.i find it also does it when i take off from a stop too.im going to try what you did and see what happens.my noise sounds like a creeking noise.any other help is appreciated.
