Its condensation that was on the AC unit, being so cold it has a low dew point and moisture in the air sticks to it until you turn it off, then the unit warms up and the water drips off.

Don't give up hope yet! There is a rumor that SYNC will be able to be retrofitted into a 07 Edge. My dealer believes that it is a dealer installed option and so should be compatible with 07. There is no hard evidence yet, but he is trying to get more info from Ford for us. I'm picking up my 07 Edge today and I'll pass on anything I learn.

Went from a Ford Explorer XLT to a Ford Edge.

I love it.

I am the only one in my little town to have one....so far. I am surrounded my Murano's and Lexus.

Little do they know how much better "mine" is.

Love the compliments I get, too. I love seeing people drive next to me trying to figure out what kind of car it is or checking out the looks.

I noticed that the Amnysthusheuusus (can't spell it lol) sure shows every little finger smudge, but like the car wash guy said, "But, it's so worth it."

I've been checking with ebay and can't find a good deal on the mobile ease.

Where would I go to get this installed in my Edge. A circuit city or something like that???? Or should I just go to my ford dealer and have them do it.

My son named her after his teacher because she's very smart, knows a lot and is nice.

I was complaining about mine at first. I live in a hot climate. I did a lot of fooling with the a/c till I figured out that setting it on auto and leaving it works the best for me.

I agree with others that say between the vista windows and black seats, it makes it harder to cool down. When it gets really hard I shut the top and give the a/c a chance to cool down the car and then open the top back up and everything stays cool then.

I test drove and purchased my Edge when it was raining. The sun came out one week later and the glare from the dash is HORRIBLE. At times, I can hardly see through the reflection. Is there anyone else with a Camel dash that is having this trouble? I have since found various articles on the net that discuss the problem. I guess Ford knew about the issue before they launched. Ford rep told me this is not a defect, it is all within certain standards, therefore nothing will be done to correct the issue. I just have to live with it. Polarized sunglasses are out as I wear glasses. Any suggestions?!?!?!?

The glare can be really bad if I am driving toward the sun. Since I have been using my new (more expensive) sunglasses (my 4.99 ones were not working) the glare has been forgotten.

I am thinking of getting the dash mat. There is times when I don't want to wear sunglasses.

Has the dash mat fixed the problem for others?

Does anyone know if the handfree option needs to be added in order for Sync to work?

I am trying to figure out if I should bother adding the handfree option or just wait to see if I can upgrade to Sync.

I went in to get a SUV. I didn't like the ride on the Ford Explorer. The Expedition is too much for just two people. Then I saw the Edge. Black, sleek, different. I had never seen one before. I didn't realize till later that the black was really a dark purple in the sun.

I went for a test drive and knew this was the car for me.

I am so happy. Just wished I had known about the SYNC. I would have probably waited a couple of months just to get that.

It is so nice to have the only one in my small town and to have everyone say, "what a beautiful car" quickly followed by, "what is it?"
