Adaptive Cruise control module went bad. And I'm not sure of the replacement part number.

I guess my real question is, is part number BA1Z9E731C the only replacement unit that can be used for my year and model? I keep getting suggestions for other part numbers that can be used. But the Ford parts catalog by VIN says BA1Z9E731C.
