ddvazac Posted March 29, 2016 Report Share Posted March 29, 2016 My 2015 Edge was Keyed by some jealous individual. There are 6/7 long scratches on my hood. One is a deep one and both the hood contour as well are scratched. I have tried certain products available (scratch removers) but doesn't do much. Any ideas to cover up. akirby Posted March 29, 2016 Report Share Posted March 29, 2016 You can try some aggressive compound but you can also burn through the clearcoat if you're not careful. If the scratches are past the clear coat it will be harder to fix. You can try filling each scratch with touch up but in my experience it won't look very good unless you take the time to fill it, sand it and polish it andwith that many scratches it will probably be faster, easier and better to just get the hood fixed and resprayed.
