Got a call from the service dept asking how 2.11 was working. I explained that I traded in the Sport and for the time ever I got a true response.
"well I dont blame you for doing it. Ford really drop the ball on this one (MFT)."

....Thats cause I traded in my Sport. I'm sick at how many times I have had to bring this in for service & updates. So lucky and surpised they gave me good $ for it. Being a Ford family and leasing/buying countless autos from Ford. It hurts me to say that MFT drove me to shop others. I now own a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. And this rig is great, looks, ride, comfort, etc. But anyway Ford has a BIG issue on their hands. I'm tried of hearing people trying to put a postive spin on this, it is what it is and MFT needs to go back to the drawing board or just scrap it.
When may wife needs to get her new car it will be a Ford without MFT (good luck w/that) or another brand. So, Allen I hope you can fix this.
Also, I have the 2011OEM all season mats and Edge cargo liner(2011) for sale $150 if anyone is interested. PM me.

That is what they installed, really I had less problems before...after just speaking with dealer service today they have a so called "fix" coming in every few days. How often do they expect me to get there each time there is a new fix? This is a brand new car... Someone needs to do SOMETHING!!!
This is why I'm getting rid of my Sport. So sad. MFT has driven me to shop other brands...So sad.

Thanks for the information. Same here my right ballast too stopped working just next day but guy replaced for me. As I got installed 9005 with little modification but now there is water droplets in headlight, I dont know if there is some air leakage after installing HID. Did you face something like that.

Well my left side ballast just went out. Calling Todd in the morning. Back on the 16th I said it was making a buzzing sound and Todd said it was fine , but now its dead. It sucks cuz I'm going on a road trip.

Not surpised to see Infotainment/navigation systems as one reason. I don't like to see this being a Ford guy.

I have finally completed my light conversion on my Edge Sport, here's some pictures of what I've done (Head lamps, puddle, vanity mirrors , map, second row, cargo, and plate lamps).
Looks good. The puddle lights...did you replace the whole thing or cut the housing and replace just the buld?
Where did you order from?

I do have one problem, though. The right ballast failed after about two weeks of working perfectly. I've sent it back to Retro-Solutions for replacement. Hopefully they'll replace it without any trouble...

Not here, but my Nav is off by 50 feet. I can be under the traffic light waiting to make a left turn and its reads 50ft. All my other Fords have been accurate within 2 feet.

I have had my 2011 Edge since 11/1/10 I think the Sync system worked for maybe 12 days. Here I am after these months and unbelievable amount of trips to the dealer(13), conducting 17 software upgrades (latest 2.8v.), still with a broken Sync and the consolation of the dealer staff telling me that I'm not the only one with the problem and I have to be patient until a solution is found. Meanwhile I keep on receiving a bill from Ford Credit for $450 every month on a lease. Great Job Ford for allowing Microsoft to ruin the reputation you worked so hard to achieve. (Sorry, Just Venting)
13 TIMES?!? After 5 visits I would have gotten a Lawyer. Try going to Royal Oak Ford they know what they doing.

Ford only has themselves to blame.
It's not Microsoft that that wrote the Touch system.
I had my updated to 2.8 a couple of weeks ago. The service dept. did a good job and know what they are doing. The service manager told me that Ford brought in an entire team from Microsoft and is helping Ford with the MFT issues. So, no its not Microsoft.
Only issue I have is playing MP3's via Blutooth, sometime it works perfect and sometimes not at all.

Different angle , but I can see the difference... there's at least 1-2" of wheel gap that was closed.
it would be easier if you had just the profile shot. Then we can compare to ours.
I'd like to lower my but dont want to compromise the ride quality.

Ok first off, the front vertical lights are not DRLS and I don't think they are even led, more like little neon lights. IMO.. they are not bright enough for DRLS I'm going to install some 7k 5 led strips in the lower grill like on my G37S check these out, they are mercedes bright...
Its a LED tube. Those strips are nice. Do they make a size that fits perfect on the Edge. I want it to look stock. Also, is the kit plug and play?

I got all the channels, dont think I have NASCAR, but dont need that.

Sirius seems to be very confused on what they should charge. This seems dis-honest and is the reason I opted out of the radio subscription.

No discount for me. I renewed for a year with Sirius Everything plus traffic and travel. Cost something like 224.00 Not cheap
Wow that ia a lot of money. I renewed on Thursday $95 for audio & 71.78 for traffic and travel plus taxes for 12 months.
Call them, if you dont get this same price, then tell them that its more then you what to spend and have HD radio anyway and you'll think about and then they will come down on the price.

Read your post before I left work. Never even tried the travel link button, so when I got in my driveway I thought I'd play a bit. Pressed the info button and went though all the stuff there. HOW COOL. Got gas prices, got weather and weather maps, got movie listings, sports scores and more. Went inside to tell the wife about all the cool stuff I found. Took her out to show it to her and nothing worked. Pushed the button and just got the "Accessing Information....May Take A While" notice, and then nothing. Still said I was subscribed to everything, but I guess I have a once a day limit on usage. (Computers really do need a sarcasm font)
My services won't work if the Edge is in the garage. Must be bad reception.
