:happy feet: The Pads that I am trying to find out about, are the two pads on the upper part of shift lever where the overdrive button is. I don't know if they just pry out or not. Anyone know please?????

I am planning to purchase a Molded dash kit for my edge. The kit is a Woodview FO-FEDGE07CA 7 PCS. It is from Wood Dash Experts (www.wooddashexperts.com/customer/home.php) When the site comes up you have to enter the FO-FEDGE07CA In the SEARCH box, as it won't show up any other way Don't know why... OK Here is my question. The instructions say that you have to remove the Shifter surround console in order to get the rubber trim off the bottom of the shifter column. BUT they don't say how to get the two time pieces off the sides of the shifter, which needs to come off in order to slide the shifter out of the console .. I would assume that they could be pried off, but until I know for sure I don't want to pry and break it. So I guess I want to know if anyone out there has removed the two shifter column pads? I have not seen this kit on the Edge yet. However I did help a friend of mine install one on his Murano and the Molded kit looks very nice . HELP ANYONE Gordon

Ok but they have dropped the Dark amethyst.

I am very disappointed with new edge colors. I don't see any of the colors I like. The one color we were interested in was (Dark Amethyst) which I guess has been done away with. They don't any good red such as Merlot. Who ever does the color selection at ford should go look another job, as he or she does not know Colors!

HI I was told last week that they had shut down the 2007 edge line, and that I would have to wait til the 08 's start up mybe in sept. Are you for sure going to get an 07? Thx Gordon
