  1. I bought a set of Peak Universal 11" x 19" Carbon Fiber Dual Temp Seat Heater kits online. I installed the switches on the top of the center console just behind the shifter. I drilled the holes using a forstner bit for perfect circles. I can take photos if interested....... It took about 4 hours to install both front seats. They work great and get hot faster than my other vehicles stock units.
  2. Thank Wilson, I did it today and that helped a lot. I appreciate the help! Now my seats are heated!
  3. I am trying to install seat heaters in the vehicle and need to get inside the console to run the wires and install the switches. I have done this on a few vehicles, but this center console is a little bit more difficult to remove than an escape or toyota
  4. I need to remove the center console (or at least the storage compartment) on my new 2011 edge. Can anyone help give some direction. Thanks
  5. Yeah, I would have it done, I am sure it isn't an easy install. Locally, it is cheaper than a decent paint job, so I might go that way. The graphic installers prefer the 3M film since it goes on/comes off easier. They just made a carbon fiber film too, I might use that on the mirrors/grill. Canon's car looks killer, I am motivated to get mine done now......
  6. I love the matte look! I am surprised you went with Paint and not film. I was thinking of doing mine, but I am looking at the 3M matte film since I can remove it a few years from now and have the original paint. Did you look at film as an option?
  7. I am getting a new 2011 SE as a company car, they are ordering the base model. We are not able to upgrade to Sync, but I am wondering if there is there still a way to activate and use Sirius in the car? Any ideas or input is welcome.....
