  1. I have a 2011 Ford Edge Sport and I just installed the new A3 SYNC update. I'm disapointed that the only place I can view the outside temperature now is on the right side of the drivers gauge cluster. I don't see it anywhere on the SYNC screen up by the clock where it used to be. Anyone else notice this with the newest update?
  2. I had my 2011 AWD Sport in last week to get the TSB addressed. WOW, wait until you get yours back - it's like a completely new car. Tons more speed - faster shifting - more aggressive!
  3. I had my 2011 AWD Sport in last week to get the TSB adressed. WOW, wait until you get your's back - it's like a completely new car. Tons more speed - faster shirting - more agressive!
  4. Below is a copy of the TSB I got from my dealer. WHISTLE NOISE FROM LEFT HAND SIDE EXTERIOR TSB 11-2-13 MIRROR WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OVER 64 KM/H (40 MPH)—BUILT ON OR BETWEEN 7/12/2010— 12/22/2010 FORD: LINCOLN: 2010-2011 Edge 2010-2011 MKX ISSUE Some 2010-2011 Edge and MKX vehicles built on or between 7/12/2010 and 12/22/2010 may exhibit a wind whistle noise from the left hand (LH) side exterior mirror while driving at speeds over 64 Km/h (40 MPH).
  5. I tried a little "homemade" something last night. I live in Western Michigan so we experienced the "Blizzard of 2011" last night, 45mph wind gusts and all. I went to Menards and purchased some all purpose weather stripping. It's maybe 1/2 wide and sticky on the back side. I heated the adhesive side with a hair dryer so it would stick to the weather seal in the door. I placed it over the existing seal from the side mirror to the bottom corner of the driver side door and also the same with the rear passenger door. I took it for a test drive (up to 60+mph) and absolutely no wind noise when the wind was gusting toward the driver side of the vehicle. I was so happy; convinced I had fixed the issue. So I then turned around and headed back to the house - ughhh - the whistling started up again - only when the wind was gusting towards the passenger side of the vehicle. It was extreme conditions last night, I haven't ventured out yet today but will update once I do. I'm convinced it helped a ton because I heard zero wind noise for the most part.
  6. I went to Fox Ford and Wayland Ford in the Grand Rapids area.
  7. I'm having the same exact issue with my 2011 Sport. I live in Michigan so it is cold/windy but still not an excuse in my book. Noticeable at 40mph - 70mph. It just drives me NUTS. I've taken it to two dealerships. The second dealership told me it's just the characteristic of the car, that's just not working for me. Any updates form anyone on getting it fixed? HELP!!!
