Hi. 2008 limited fwd 132,000 miles. I started to hear a whirring pump sound from the back passenger side of my vehicle. Never noticed until a few months ago. It happens if the car has sat for a couple of days. If I get in and touch the brake pedal without starting the car it begins. If I keep foot on pedal it continues for around 5 seconds. If I take my foot off pedal it stops. I replaced the fuel pump but the noise continues. No symptoms but a mystery. Anyone have any idea? Thanks!

Did either of you ever get this resolved? I notice whenever the vehicle gets wet in rain or snow...

One last question. Another member stated: "The problem is not with the heater core at all, and AFAIK any heater core from any vehicle will be in the same condition if you used that coolant they used. The problem was with the fluid they used in the vehicles manufactured before April 2008, it seems that fluid for some error was out of specs, lacking of some ingredients or anti-corrosive ingredients or God knows what!!! " Did your vehicle fall into that build date category? Mine was built in September of 2008. Thanks

How has the repair held up? I have mine in the shop now and they have had it for 3 days. I do not know yet what repairs they are making to it. I passed them all the info you had in your post. I am curious to know if you have had any issue since your repairs. Thanks!
