  1. Nope my folks are dead. I have been making serious money for quite a few years and I can spend whatever I want to spend. For me I just see what I like and buy it. Realistically those prices can be easily beat. You just have to shop 'em.
  2. It's hard to believe that FORD would launch a vehicle without WHITE being a color option. Evidently some of Fords executives haven't studied Color choices over the years. I guess that's what happens when you let Jerry's Kid's pick the color choices for your company...
  3. I did the same thing with my edge. I have every option as the one you've shown has but elected not to purchase the factory NAV unit. Instead I purchased the Pioneer NAV which is better looking, doesn't have the functions restricted and for less than the FORD factory NAV price I have steering controls, integrated Blue tooth MP3, Blue Tooth Cell, Serious SAT, IPOD (onscreen function) DVD, reverse camera and digital guages. A much better value than the factory unit. The sticker on mine was 32,500 and I got a set of numbers so i paid well under Invoice. Anyway, enough about my Edge. Yours looks great. The only mistake in my opinion was the choice of wheels. They don't look that good. Thye're not hideous but they are weak for what wheels should do for the vehicle. Next one you do try something along these lines http://www.directwheelsandtires.com/Giovanna-Cuomo-58.html So the vehicle all around is a winner. Good choice of options and the wheels look better than the stock one's do. The tires are also much better than the stock Continentals which are lousy quality tires.
  4. That is a great road trip report! I have 1,000 miles on my 07 Ford Edge. My only worthy complaints are the cup holders and that retarded speed limiter. I put Speed rated tires and an after market suspension on my Ford Edge and I can't use the available horsepower until later when someone puts out a chip/programmer. That is rediculous. One other thing. The factory suspension is dangerous and mushy for any kind of agressive maneuvering whether for fun or emergencies. That can be easily remedied from your local accessorie/performance shop. Over all it is a great vehicle. I have a pioneer AVIC D3 nav unit installed in mine and it looks and performs better than the factory unit at 1/2 the cost!
