I got my car back today from the dealer after telling them of my frustration of getting the car back in worst shape than when I dropped it off. I asked them to please test it before calling me to tell me it was ready. They called me today at 2pm and said it was ready and everything works. I was skeptical as you can imagine after reading everyone's troubles on this site. I can happily report that everything works! I spent the last hours setting my phone back up and going through every menu. I cannot find anything that doesn't work. I'm still in shock and I hope it stays this way. I am telling everyone this because there is hope.

I took my 2011 Edge Limited to the dealer yesterday for the recall and they updated the software to 2.4 be. Everything worked before I took it in on MFT and now I do not have any navigation or Sync Apps. The "i" icon that used to be on the home screen on the bottom isn't even there now. Any ideas? Do you think pulling the fuse will reset this as well as the Navigation? It would be nice if the dealership would check these things before giving it back to the customer. Thanks for a great site!

Here is a few picks I took with the chrome hole plugs I used to fill in the holes for the front license plate holder when I drilled out the rivets.

I have a limited that also had a license plate bracket installed. I drilled out the rivets to remove the holder and then was left with the two holes. I then proceeded to drill them out with a 3/8" drill bit and then picked up some chrome plugs at Lowes in the hardware department for $1.04 each and they snapped in place and looks so much better. They blend in pretty well. Just another idea.

I took delivery of my 2011 Limited the beginning of December and I also get the wind noise from the drivers door. I live in Kansas and am originally from Michigan and it is no where near as cold here. What is strange is when I first started hearing the noise I turned off the climate control and the noise stopped immediately. It stops making wind noise every time I turn off the climate control. I have not been back to the dealer yet but it makes me wonder if it has something to do with the pressurization of the cabin. Maybe the other members that are having the noise issues can try turning off their climate control system and see if the noise stops for you as well.
