2011 SEL FWD plat white / black leather 202a pkg / tow pkg purchased 12-2010 6000 miles very satisfied mileage better than most say on this forum... but then i drive at speed limit only...

we also have had no problems.. 6 months and 6000 miles... mileage is much better that most people have been saying.. total car mpg states 24.6.. but when we manually check it, the mileage is usually better than what the trip meter states. Only problem with the sync and touch is i have a hard time understanding the voice on the call for directions.. SEL FWD

2011 SEL FWD Just returned from a 500+ mile trip from Central Indiana to southern Michigan and back. driving was all on US31 which is a 2 lane devided highway that goes through several small towns. traveled at the speed limit which is mostly 60-65 .. very suprised and happy to get a combined MPG of 28.1

i went on the ford web site and asked for information about the edge and ford sent me a coupon for $750 off. used it with the 1500 off. good luck

2011 SEL, FWD, 202a, tow pkge … (replaced 2004 Accord EX) After 1000 miles and 30 Days.. here are a few impressions on our Edge. Mileage is about what we expected. average 25.5.. (20% town, 30% interstate,50% local highways with curves and hills). The Ride is very quiet, much better than the Honda. Leather seats are comfortable and a good level of support. With the heat being very fast and hot, a bit too hot on high. The climate controls have operated well. The middle headrest on the back seat does bother us when driving. It seems to block vision of small cars. Also the front door does have some design problems .. The assist handle being near the hinge makes it harder to control the door as you open and close it. Also the cup holder in the door does not really hold a cup well .. And the storage area on the front door is hard to get to anything in the back part. The MFT/Sync has worked great .. no problems at all. it has the Gen 2 update. Also the Hazzard light location does not seem to be a problem with us.. For the exterior, the lights are much better than our Honda. The Security approach lamps really help in dark parking lots. The reverse sensing system and the camera is much nicer than i thought it would be. The sensers will pick up a 3 inch curb. The FWD system has been fine with the small amount of snow and freezing rain that we have had. Very happy with the Ford Dealership.. It is a small dealer in a rural area of Indiana and so far they have been great.

Every dealer that we went to gave us a quote of invoice, minus rebates .. We finally settled for : 200 under invoice minus 1500 rebates minus 750 from Ford that we got for asking for information on line. all this came out to 2450 under invoice.. this was for a SEL

SEL white platinum with 202A pkg ordered oct 27 ... got the call Dec 4 ... When I registered at mysync.. i got the "VIN trouble" notice.. The dealer said that there was an update to do.. after checking today the VIN notice was gone and it shows the "SYNC Gen2" as the software... Are there anyother updates that i need to check out b-4 i take delivery..
