The last time I tried months ago I did...tried different ways. plug cam or phone in 1st,,then turn on accessories,,,accessories first, then plug in..parking brake and in park,,without parking brake,,engine on...couldn't ever get it to work..just stopped fooling with it.

I never could get videos from iphone nor photos from camera to display in the 2.11 version. Even with the Apple purchased video a/v cables. Has anyone tried with the new version?

For what it's worth... They fixed mine within an hour today... Had just dropped it off . Have to believe it was something really simple for them to do it that fast. Service ticket says navigation system inop, performed oasis,,no tsb,,ssm found,,performed manual installation of navigation, performed sync update,,retest,,ok. Everything seems to work fine now. Tech was gone when I picked it up so didn't get to ask him what the deal was.

I have a 2011 Edge Ltd.. Didn't receive update in the mail...Was sent a letter saying had to bring to dealer for upgrade...Kinda funny,,,brought it to dealer,,they asked me where was my usb and map card...? they took car, kept it two days,,called me and said ready... why so long,,,told me had to change to apim card.. good to go...got in,,software's updated,,,navigation is gone....they didn't know what was wrong or what to do about it.. try to drop it off again this week and see....

Put my 2011 Egde ltd in shop for update,,,,received letter in mail that the work need to be done in service dept... Turns out they changed the apim and did the update,,,now ,,no navigation at all... In the upper right hand corner where it used to show navigation,,now just shows information...They installed the new nav card,,dealer cant figure it out...says they have 2 more edges that the same thing happened.. anyone else run across this problem?

I didn't receive a letter or upgrade in the mail concerning my 2011 Edge ltd...Did however receive a letter saying it needed to be brought in for the upgrade... So I dropped it off thinking ,,just a couple of hours.. 2 days later they call me...ready,,checked it before I pulled out..noticed right away,,upper right corner of screen,,where it used to show navigation,,,now shows information....There is no navigation anymore,,even with the new A3 nav card...Dealer said they didn't notice that...huh,,turns out they replaced the apim chip also,,told me that's why it took so long.. So either I have a bad nav card or they put in the wrong apim chip. But they didn't haven any more nav cards to try...anyone have suggestion? Called ford to see if I had anything coming in the mail and they said no cuz the dealer had taken care of it...

New Gen 2 sync that was factory installed.. Can't view photos from usb,,just to view...can however,pull them in thru as wallpaper...Thought there might be a way to just plug your camera in to be able to view them on bigger screen.? When I try and plug video camera in,,point to a/v as source,,nothing,,,took out sd card from camera and insert,,,basically says maybe protected,,then,,no media files on source,,,something like that....kinda looked thru manual,,,see nothing that really gives clear directions..thanks for any help..
