  1. I will have to look for that, Thanks. Is there anyway to quickly add your current location in the GPS to your favorites?
  2. I have been following the upgrades threads about the slow mailing coming from Ford Canada. I had been checking my mailbox everyday for the past week or 2 but no luck. So I had to book an appointment to service my 2011 Edge SEL for some minor items and I just through out can you upgrade the sync also?, Answer was no problem we can do that will its in for service. So without any mailing from ford the upgrade was done today from the Erinwood dealer in Mississauga. So far my Galaxy S2 paired and loaded the address book no problem. All my presets for the radios were still there, only my favs for the Nav are gone. The menu home screen is very simple almost to simple. I Cant believe the outside temp is gone, that is a real bummer. I have not driven it enough to comment on the new maps. The touch sensitivity seems to be better. I will provide more comments after I get a better chance to test the whole system out
  3. This is exactly want I mean. Either the sales people are so stupid and they dont know much about there products or they, or some of them do know more that they are letting on to. Either way if more informed customers went in and complained about the problems or misleading advertising, then walked out, maybe that would force Ford to step up.

Well you know when you are about to leave the dealership and the salesman does his last smilely pitch and dam near begs you to fill the survey card out rating him excellent that you will get in the mail . This is where i will be writing something down!!. Its the sales that are the front line. They know whats going on and they need to hear from us!. How many of them told you about the sync problems and the services that weren't available? When i mentioned the sync problems and the black screen his face went blank, He new exactly what i was talking about. I was buying the car anyways but it was nice to see him squirm for a while.
  6. if this sync had the ability to stream apps from your phone how great would that be. Or why cant Sync make a deal with apps like "Poynt" how hard can that be. Does anybody know where to start to email ford for suggestions?
  7. Well its just so annoying that all this is paraded in front of you as being part of the system, Then Bam! only until you register online do you find that its not available here in Canada. Do you think we have any recourse ? Can we complain to someone and maybe get some sort of rebate?
  8. Funny how you see all these great ads, salesmen talk and websites filled with all the flashy sync apps. Then after you actually buy the vehicle you find out the sync add on's like weather, movies, stocks, are not available in Canada. I am right or am I just missing something?
  9. Does the calender screen only display a plain old calender or is it supposed to sync with your phone calender? I currently have a BB Bold 9000.

Does this Navigation system that was a $700 dollar option really not have such features as estimated arrival time, average speed, standing time etc, All these features are common on even $99 portable units. Or have i just not the read the whole manual and figured out how to use it? I gotta feeling that I was duped by all the flash and didn't really research this purchase as well as I should have.
