[i was just at my local dealership yesterday getting my registration and plate for my 11 Edge SEL AWD. I asked the service department about the 2.7 update. I told them that I had some issues with my current version - 2.4. Issues like pressing the sync button and not getting a voice prompt (this has happened several times and also some slow screen response. I scheduled to have 2.7 installed next week when their "Sync tech" comes back from training. After hearing about navigation issues and other issues that are present with the 2.7 update, I am starting to wonder if I should keep that appointment.

I haven't received a letter yet but I was wondering for those who got the letter and/or got the 2.7 update, did the dealership you went to charge you for the upgrade? I remember my dealership (Porter Ford, Delaware) charging me 49.99 to update my sync on my 09 Ford Flex for the 911 and Vehicle Health Report.

Thanks. That would be strange if they took that feature away from the newer Flex's. Anyway still love my new Edge. Even though I only have had it for a few days.

Well I was thinking of my 09' Ford Flex (which I no longer have) and the 2nd row moved back and forth but I know the 3rd row didn't now that I think of it. My mistake.

2011 Ford Edge - Stupid Question: How do you move the back seats back more for more space? I only see the lever on the side of each that recline the seat. I do not see a middle bar under the seats that I would normally use to move the seat back. Am 1 missing something here? Thanks in advance!

I just got my new Edge yesterday. I would have had it a few days ago however the dealership from PA (I am from Delaware) that was supposed to send it to my dealership sent it to the wrong dealership. My dealership was nice to throw in some all weather mats for the trouble (though it wasn't their fault). I ended up getting a Koma Blue, Black Interior, with MyFord Touch, Navigation,Rear Camera, Vision Package, Leather Comfort Package,18 inch Chrome Clad Wheels, etc. Loving it so far. My build date is 2/16/11.
