I took a shot also. The continuous reboot starting happening after 2 months (2000 miles). Dealer will have to replace APIM module (week to get the part) I think it says "Application vca_app.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down."

I have a 2011 Ford Edge, 2200 miles on it (2 months old). I have been delighted overall with the car until this week, when the Sync system failed completely. It continuously tries to reboot itself ("Performing scheduled system maintenance"). I took it to the dealer today, who identified a failed "APIM Module". They said it will take one week for the part to get in. I am a first time Ford owner. My ownership experience just turned from awesome to awful in a span of just a couple days.

Just bought a new Edge couple of weeks ago. It seems to me that the car controls keep the AC on more than it should....for example the other day, I had it set to 70F, the inside of the car was not hot to start with, the outside air temp was like 54F or so, and the AC was still on. Have others noticed this? I have turned the AC off manually, it does not seem to turn off the other "auto" operations. Is there any way to adjust the way this system works? Just worried its robbing me some fuel economy....
