Does anyone know how easy it is to lose these shiny hubcaps?

the update button is for syncmyride.com where three is a way to upload a new version of the software yourself. it think the colors where black=neg, green =power. but test first. i am not home to look at it.

i will not be home for a while, but the pins for the mirror is the 1st and 4th(can be the 3rd) wires, make sure you test with a voltage meter. The wire colors make sense. What radar are you using. I built something like this: http://www.invisicord.com/order.html the issue with this one was the pins are too large to fit.

i wired my passport; i connected the power/negative directly into the back of the power plug of the mirror. It has been 3 weeks with no issues. Do you need the diagram for the wiring? My installs(minus the correct wiring. I do not remember at the moment) I took a heavy duty tel line, spliced the 2 middle wires, went to radio shack bought tiny wiring pins, solder the pins to the wire, (when i did not solder, the wires fell out) crushed the pins flat. Slide the 2 pins into the back of the mirror jack. very easy, hardest part was not to confuse the +/-, the wiring digram on the net, have a different wiring colors for tel line versus network line.

What terrain are you driving though that will break a regular hard drive? I think you car will fall apart well before a hard drive breaks from a few potholes.

on my android there is a setting for car mode, after that i can control prex/next and play through the screen. nothing else.

if there is a chip, eventually it can crack in the cold. Go to a windshield place and they have special glue that will seal up the chip. If they do it right, it is hardly noticeable. Should be cheap, around 50$ http://www.safelite.com/repair.jsp

There are 2 hidden hooks, around 10 inches towards the outside of the car where the hooks will go, look at Trisha07.07.07 's picture at the bottom 2 outside hoops, you will find out where to place them. BTW, I think Trisha07.07.07 tops hooks are in the wrong place.

all your "The not as good news" sound like the sync servers and not the car software. Remember, when you dial the sync service, your car is not being used at all, all the voice control and information is being used on the sync servers. So you car software sound like it works.

Does anyone know if there is a way to auto close the windows and sunroof when locking or exiting the car? My volkswagen had a cool feature, when you turn the door key in the opposite direction, all doors and windows will close and lock. Can this been done with the key fob or keypad? thanks.

with my verizon android and blackberry phones all features work except blue tooth texting. Address book, mute, answer... all work.
