I am totally IN with that.... .....Let me tell you about my problems with that clunker Edge...I have TWO un-resolved issues with FORD and no amount of questioning my local dealer has brought relief to the situation...Item #1...the numberic indicator in the middle of the instrument panel continues to increase NO matter what I seem to do..or at what ever speed...I have been informed this is normal and I have my doubts...Item #2....My car continues to, regardless of my futile efforts, get and attract bugs and other debris to the front of the vehicle...and this vehicle....well, is seeming to get dirty very fast...I purchased a self-cleaning oven for my home...so I know the technology is out-there for Ford to tap...I think they fail to do this.... in some vast conspiracy......The only resolved Ford issue ....The right rear tire pressure sensor failed and my local dealer took 37 minutes to replace that...when the service advisor told me it would only be about 30 minutes....I just returned from outside inspecting the car for any other failures and have noticed that my tires are showing visible signs of wear.....NOW I AM HOT.....All this with only 28153.4 on that number gizmo....Ford should held responsible for these gross malfunctions....I am joining in the suit....post haste..........Sr..

Well, we just got back from our first long trip. We drove from Midland, TX to Alamogordo, NM and back, 778.2 miles and averaged 25.6 MPG. It actually hit 26.0 for a while until there were a bunch of stops and changes in the speed limit. There were no mechanical glitches and we really enjoyed having satellite radio for the first time. The seats are much more comfortable than those in our old Durango. So far, so good!

...Sounds good...Did you go I-20 to I-10??...I was wondering cause south of Odessa...the speed goes to 80...I've noticed a "sweet spot" in my EDGE right at 82..wondered if you found the same??...........Happy...... .......Sr..

Why is there a switch to turn off Traction Control and when would you want to use this switch?

.....Friend are you in snow country?.... IF..so..you may find need for it...The Traction Control System can equate a spinning wheel with a skidding wheel and apply braking to other wheels to correct your skid...But you're NOT skidding...You're stuck or about to be...and real good too....your about to spout some profanity that will cause your momma .... .....to thump your head....AND...now your dunce car will apply brakes on you.... ..... just as you would LIKE... to become "un-stuck"....Been there...done that....I am a mud country guy....AND...it do discontinue the technology that is suppose to keep us...from killing our pee-brain selves....I believe The TC system is all about that late 90's Explorer/Firestone...car/tire failure business that socked Ford so hard in eye and wallet and sent Firestone to nowhere land....People way above my pay grade...have determined...We are all too dumb to check our tires, check the air pressure, know what direction we are going....AND...according to my British Friends... EVEN.... know which side of the road to drive on........Happy......... .....Sr....
