My 2011 limited just started doing the same thing. I need to slam the door to get the warning light to go out. Does anyone know if there is a TSB on it or what the problem really is ?
No TSB that I am aware of. The problem lies within the door latch. It needs to be replaced. Had mine replaced not too long ago. Problem solved

Noob question here... you guys use the 9006 or 9005 kits? any additional harness? I've read a bit on here about flickering and what not
9006 55w kit and no harness here for about a year. No problems. Only thing i did change was the bulb. The 5000k bulb I had were a bit too blue for my liking. I now have morimotos 5000k bulbs. Best investment yet my .02 cents.

Our Sport just started to do this as well. :-(

Not bad for a Prime member with the free shipping, but still too rich for my blood.

Hey man, sorry about the delayed response. I thought I would get an email if anyone responded to the post but didn't- I just saw your post now. If you're still interested I can measure the box tonight and check the shipping cost.
Im still interested. Let me know.

Well that sucks. Weird on how my ddm 9006 fits fine. No problems.

I'm currently run a 9006 bulb 5000K 55W from DDM tuning. Easy to install and works great. Price is very reasonable (~$50)

If your willing to seperate, I'd be interested in the rear piece. If so, let me know how much shipped to 78045. Thanks.

Is there a solution available to re-calibrate ECU to allow for the CAI?
You would have to hit up a shop that can custom tune the ECU to compensate for the added Air . Wish SCT offered a handeld for the 3.7L

The harness plugs are found on the rear driver side panel in the cargo area. You must remove the plastic cover to get a hold of the plugs. I have instructions for the 100 bi-directional series if your interested....should be the same install I believe.

Do you know the P/N for the fob? I haven't seen them sold individually yet.

Out of curiosity...did your kit only come with one key fob? If so do you know if another can be added? I prefer the integrated look of having the remote start in the key but am afraid the quoted range of 300' might be more like 100' in the real world. A guy I work with has the bidirectional and it is useable from inside the office to his car about 600' away. But only getting one key fob might be a deal breaker for me since we both want to be able to use this feature.
Yes, only one key fob for this kit. If I recall, I think you can program up to 8. They do sell separate key fob for about $40. The integrated key fob is much more convenient but the range on this thing is pretty impressive.

I recently installed the bi-directional on my '11 Sport. All hardware installation was a breeze. Only thing I could not do was activate the remote start function. Had the dealer turn the function on with their IDS. Everything is as stated..plug & play.

I wonder if one off a ford Flex would work? I believe the part #'s are the same but dont know about the color

This happens on my 2011 Sport. Noticed that the very next day when I took it home. It appears as if one of the tabs that holds the bumper to the fender doesn't do a good job of keeping it and holding it in place. It is annoying.

Thanks Choff.
2 new babies for sure. Wish one would require less of a messy maintenance lol. Baby is expected mid September.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Just got myself into a '11 Edge Sport in Ingot Silver. Dont actually have the vehicle just yet due to it coming in to the dealership on or about the 20th of this month. My wife and I are expecting our first child and we needed something a little bit more family oriented so we opted for one of these. I'm giving up my 550+HP/1100+LB/FT TQ 09 Lariat F250 I'm going to kick myself in the A$$ every time I see one lol. But its all for my new family, Ill get a new toy later on. At least im not getting into a mini van, thank God. Anyways, I look forward to riding around in this and can't wait to start some mods on it.

I had the same blueish hue from my ddm 5k bulbs and hated it. I Went with morimoto 5k's bulbs keeping the ddm ballast. No blue hue what so ever. A nice crisp white.
As far as alignment, you can always lower them a bit if on coming traffic keeps flashing at you just my .02 cents
