I recently had this issue over the weekend. I have a 2008 Ford Edge that we bought Certified Pre-Owned. It has about 45K miles. I stopped at a 4 way stop. A wrench appeared on the dashboard and the screen read ODO error with dashes. I could not go. It was as if my car was stuck in neutral. Even after turning the car off and on several times it did not remedy the problem. It also was shifting hard from Park to Drive, etc. I ended up having the car towed as it was not driveable. The dealer just called me to tell me that IT IS covered under the power trane warranty. It was two electronic sensors that had gone out and needed replacing. Hope this helps!
