  1. I noticed some improvements with 2.11: - bluetooth connects quicker and seems better - voice recognition working better - overall system a little quicker - less buggy
  2. I love mine also Am running sync V2.8 and don't have many issues besides the bluetooth problems I am having (which is a big one of course but am hoping it will be resolved soon).... YES the first few months were very frustrating no doubt, had tons of bugs and issues. But most were resolved with software 2.8 - I strongly recommend anyone that is having issues to upgrade the software. Sure gas consumption is not great for me, but the technology is amazing, tons of options, price is right (compared to other models with similar or less available options) and it drives really well. Also I got 0% interest for my 48 month lease which was nice !!!
  3. Seems as of now (in my testing) the following phones work; - Blackberry 9000, 9700, 9780 (and probably other Blackberries) - All windows phone 7 devices (hence the microsoft connection) - Possibly windows mobile 6 devices (as mentioned above - but I have not tested myself) - Recent android HTC devices (my HTC evo 3D works as did my HTC sensation - maybe it's HTCs implementation ??) iPhone 3 and 4 do not work, and other android models do not seem to work either Hopefully future update will address this
  4. Hi again, I'm so happy I found a forum with other edge /MKX owners Does anyone have any idea when /if sirius travel link services will be available in canada ?? Thanks
  5. Hi all I do mostly city driving with my 2011 MKX AWD and average 21 Litres per 100 KMs (in Canada of course) When I do highway driving (went to toronto a few weeks back), it goes down to around 12L/100KMS Does that sound about right ?? Seems way off from fords marketing for city/highway claims Just curious what other owners are getting Thanks
  6. Thanks for the replies Yes I usually delete the phones from touch and then do a new pairing. And yes my phones are always up to date on their software. I cannot say for sure I had a problem with my blackberry but am pretty sure i did. And I know for sure the iPhone 4 and android phones are giving me issues (I change phones waaaaaaay too often LOL) The issues are intermittent, sometimes people hear me perfectly fine and then my voice starts cutting in and out, static, etc. I also have another problem when the phone rings and I answer but the music keeps playing and it takes 4-5 seconds for it to transfer to my handsfree... I guess I'll try version 2.11 and see if that helps... Hopefully it won't give me new issues as some are reporting.
  7. Hi all, I've own a 2011 Lincoln MKX fully equipped with the sight sound package and all options. I've had the truck at service numerous times for software updates to address various issues (screen turning black, camera stuck, etc).. I love the technology in the truck and am very happy with it, besides the various software bugs. I am now finally running version 2.8 and all seems to be working ok EXCEPT I still have the same bluetooth problems that I've had since day one - people cannot hear me properly. They complain that I am constantly fading in and out, static, etc.. I have tried various different phones (blackberry 9780, iPhone 4, HTC sensation, and numerous others) and always seem to have the same issue. Could this be a hardware problem? Does anybody else experience these issues and if yes, is there any way to fix it ?? Would the latest software version 2.11 possibly fix this ?? Any feedback would be much appreciated Thanks in advance and have a great day
