Sirius called since my free sub was running out. They gave me the six for $30 offer right away. With taxes and fees it comes to $38 for six months, about the limit of what I'd pay considering how little I use it. Auto renews at regular rates so I'll have to call in six months and try to get the deal again.

It didn't show up for me after 15 minutes of driving down I95 to work this morning.

That worked, thanks. Master reset and the update finished without any glitches. I'm disappointed in the four quadrant screen. It seems like they added some stability at the cost of usability. The nav quadrant now just shows the compass and doesn't list the current street like it used to. My favorites for Sirius radio got saved, witch is good, but now the artist and song don't show up in the entertainment quadrant like they used to. You have to be in the entertainment screen to see it. When you adjust the fan speed, the fan settings used to show up on the climate tab, but now you don't get any feedback for the fan speed unless you are on the climate screen. The sounds that play as you change the fan speed are now greatly muted and you can hardly even hear them. I think lots of folks have complained about the outside temperature being removed from the clock display at the top. I got really used to having all that information on the four quadrant screen. Now it seems a lot less useful. I really don't want to have to drill down to the full screens when I'm driving to get the information that I used to get before the upgrade.

No go for me this weekend. The upgrade quit almost as soon as it started, error message put up about three different reason why it might have quit. Bad CRC, corrupt file or something else. I guess I will be calling the dealer to get them to try it later this week.

Got my upgrade USB and new nav card in the mail yesterday, Melbourne Florida. I never got a letter saying it was coming so I was glad to see the blue package in the mailbox. Haven't had a chance to install it yet.

I'm considering getting the rear view mirror with homelink for my 2011 ford edge sport. The description on it says, "Not applicable on vehicles equipped with Ford SYNC" The current mirror is auto-dimming, so there is power there. I was thinking I could just swap them out, anyone have any experience with this or know that it wouldn't work? When we were shopping for cars, we looked at the Lexus and when I was picturing a cargo cover in my mind that was what I thought of. I couldn't believe how lame the Ford cargo cover is and I am extremely disappointed. Hopefully an aftermarket option will show up.
