I've been kicking around the decision to buy an Edge Sport since January. In June I ended up going with an '07 Lexus GS 350 AWD since I was able to get it at a dealer auction for about 10% under KBB trade-in value. I've driven Fords all my life and although the Lexus is an amazing machine, it leaves me wanting more - it doesn't carry the Blue Oval and it just isn't big enough.
Now that the 2012's are out and there's rumors about some 3rd party IT company re-vamping MFT, I can't help but be back in the market. I'm a little disappointed to see the lack of improved available features on the 2012 such as an option for HIDs (although there is an aftermarket way around that). How about HomeLink? I believe HomeLink was standard on the 1st Gen Edge Sport but I know it was NOT available on the 2011 Sport? Does anyone know if HomeLink is available on the 2012 Sport? I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I'm hoping someone else has done more research or knows from experience.
