Why would you tint the rear glass and the pano roof? They are already tinted and they are legal tint as well. The backs are allowed to be dark. If you tint the rear glass and the pano roof then your just throwing your money away. Just tint the front 2 windows as they are they only windows left to be tinted.

Typically the rear windows are 20%. I couldn't tell you the brand I used as my friend does the tinting. As far as the 70% that is correct as to the law in NY I can't speak for PA. But unfortunately the laws in NY have changed and if you have front tint it will no longer pass New York State Inspection. If you want to go with little tint but not dark I would suggest 35%. Or 50% is a very light and will almost look as if there isn't any tint on the car at all.

I think you can also erase the old codes yourself if you have the factory code. Check the owner's manual.

With the Ford Touch system you can. On the old systems it has to be done through the Ford IDS computer

How would I go about erasing the old codes?

If you bring the car to a Ford service department they should be able to hook up the computer to the car and erase the old codes.

Did they quote the torque numbers for the V6s?

Projected numbers are as follows

2.0L....EcoBoost........245 horsepower and 270 torque

Newly announced today the 2015 Edge order banks will be opening on 10/13/2014.....Scheduling to begin on 11/13/2014....and the Job #1 date is 1/19/15

The dates Ford recently announced to dealers is Order bank to open and start taking orders on 10/13/14.....Scheduling to begin on 11/13/14.......Job#1 not scheduled to start building until 1/19/15...More info to follow as it becomes available.

Ford now has it listed that we can start taking orders on the 15 Edge on 10/13/14....The first production dates will not be until 1/19/15

Carfax and also ask the dealer if they have AutoCheck as well a lot of times issues don't come up on carfax but does come up on autocheck.

I have been eyeing up a 2014 Sel model with the sel appearance package, but now I don't think that's going to happen. Is there any chance of the 2015 model getting an sel appearance package this go around?

There is no way to tell as of yet but I can tell you the 2014 model is going to continue to be built through 12/23. As I get more information I will post

As of right now I don't have any new information for the 2015 but since I'm a Ford dealer as it comes out I will post.
