Behind the panel should be the same. are you going to use the OEM subwoofer amp? You should not have any problems with adding a grill to the panel as long as it does not stickout. proper placement is the main thing..

Here we go Deck: Kenwood DNX9960 Front Speakers: Hybrid Audio Technologies Clarus C51-2 (5.25" Midbass and 3/4" tweeter) Rear Speakers: OEM Audiophile Amp: JL Audio 300/4 (75x2 fronts- 150x1 sub) Subwoofer: JL Audio 10w3v3 Wire: All Stinger wiring and RCA's The Ride The deck is mounted in a Bestkits dash kit BKFMK542 (about $19.99) I used a bestkits harness BHA5800 (has the steering wheel wires, VSS wire, back up triger aswell) Flat RTA response.. The Tweeters, I color matched them with SEM paint and mounted them in the A-Pillars The Midbass drivers, I made a 6x8 baffle same shape as OEM mounted to OEM holes. The amp, mounted and wired under the rear seat.. may swap it for my Arc Audio 4200SE amp (110x4) If you have any questions please let me know..
