  1. For now just using the stock projector.

Thanks for the reply, here's what I'm having an issue with. I have the Morimoto system left from the '13 Edge.

That Edge had the shutter to cut off the high beam (low and high were the same bulb). In this '15 Edge, if I install the HID into the projector, won't I be blinding others, since it's in effect a high beam bulb, without the shutter to make it low beam?

    Thanks for your replies.

  2. Happened to my wife's 2007 Edge a few times. The last time it stalled was the one that pissed me off. It happened at 7am with my daughter in the car, she was merging onto the highway and it died on the on ramp.

They almost got killed my the cars swerving around them to get on the highway they were now blocking. Thank God my friend was able to tow her out and get them and the truck back home.

Started right up the next day and I drove it straight to Ford and got her a new one that day.

  3. Having read about these issues on these threads it seems the most common occurrence of the problem is when you do not have the relays and/or capacitors.

Having said that, last night when I was heading home for the first time since i installed the lights several months ago I had a bulb not light. The system was on auto. Moving to manual on did no good. In the end I made a quick stop at a store (about 3 minutes) and when i came out and got in they both came on and have started 4 times since. For a few minutes there I thought I had lost a bulb or ballast. Yes, I have relays AND capacitors.

Thanks for the reply. As an aside, they lights are fantastic, they really light up the road ahead and here in NJ where I live, some roads have no streetlights.

The stop signs and orange construction cones really pop from far away now. If the only negative is the Auto ON not working, it's no biggie to me. Plus it's the missus' daily, my speed has the HID's

  4. wow that is definitely a condensation problem. because of the way the water is evenly spread out on the roof panel. If it was a leak you would only see the water in a few spots. That doesn't rule out the possibility of a water leak at the floor. I purchased custom floor liners when I bought my car last month and in the last couple weeks I've probably dumped out a quart of water from my mat once each week.

At first I was going to tell the OP that cars should only be washed from the outside, NOT the inside.

Then I thought about it and Cinnamon's answer makes more sense...shows you what I know.
