  1. Does Dr. Color Chip work on small scratches on the plastic bumper? Thanks, Amakia
  2. I used Mr. clean Auto Dry for years and it worked great. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago Mr. Clean decided to stop making and selling the product. You can still buy the soap and the filters on eBay, but they are quite expensive. Too bad, it was a great product.
  3. Limited59 - you are correct about the new home screen. Just shows the heater buttons and the temps. Of course when you press the climate tab, all the information is there including "Auto." The same on the home screen for the music, only the station/channel appears above the presets. When USB is played (Ipod in my case) the song title and album does show on the home screen. All the detailed information is on the individucal tabs or on the drivers dash board screens. I did find that the upgrade did a better job of indexing the music on my ipod (USB) than V2.11.
  4. I started this post back in early April when I first received my upgrade package from Ford. I decided today to take the plunge and do the upgrade, even though V2.11 has performed well for me. It was a very simple process and took about 40 minutes. I did it while driving on a long trip rather than idling in my garage. I like the updated software and it seems to work as well as what I experienced from V2.11. It seems a little faster and the screens cleaner. Overall I am happy that I did the upgrade, even though I wasn't experiencing any probelms before.
  5. Scorpio - I saw the description of your Edge at the bottom of your post. You have the exact same car and options that I do, even the color. I bought mine on Jan 8, 2012. I had read about all the Sync issues on this forum and was expecting some problems. Fortunately I have been pleasantly surprised. I love the adaptive cruise control. Drove 120 miles on the freeway today without touching the brakes or accelerator. I'm also pleased with the mileage, getting around 20 in the city and 25 on the highway.
  6. I have received my USB and Nav Card update but have been hesitant to upgrade. I purchased my 2012 Edge Limited AWD in January 2012 and the V2.11 Sync and Nav have performed flawlessly. Voice commands are understood, touch screen response is good, phone pairs perfectly, music including USB has been perfect and Nav has. been spot on. I feel foe those of you who have had difficultly with the system and can understand why you were anxious to upgrade. But I tend to be one who thinks if it ain't broke don't fix it. Anyone else in the same camp as me?
  7. Please let us know how it turns out once you get it installed. This looks like it might be a viable solution. Thanks!
  8. Thank you for posting the link. This looks promising. Has anyone actually purchased and tried this cover?
  9. I agree. For such a nice car, it is a shame. What are you using to hide items in you're cargo area. I use a blanket but don' t feel it helps much.
  10. Has anyone found a good after market cargo cover for the 2011/2012 Edge or come up with a good solution? A few months ago when this topic was brought up some members said they were just using a blanket to cover items in the cargo area. Also, some folks had modified the weird Ford OEM cover using Velcro. Hopefully some smart person out there has come up with something that looks good and provides adequate visual security.
