2007 AWD Edge 8K miles. Took it to the dealer for the “burning smell” and oil leak. They said this is a common problem with the Edge. They replaced the right side axle shaft seal. They had the parts in stock and it was repaired in 1 day. I hope that this is a permanent fix and I don’t have any more troubles in the future. I will keep a close lookout for leaking oil.
